Face towel FAQ

Six questions this guide can answer on its own: which combinations are fixed before a quotation, how to compare samples and packs, whether the portable pouch and the travel pack are one format, what happens to a brief sent from here, why price and lead time are not published, and what sits outside the guide. Commercial terms belong to the quotation, and to the manufacturer.

The short version

  1. Six questions, all answerable before a quotation exists: which combinations are fixed, how to compare samples and packs, whether the portable pouch and the travel pack are one format, what happens to a brief sent from this site, why price and lead time are not published, and what falls outside the guide.
  2. What is not here. Price, MOQ, lead time, payment terms, certification, and quality-claim handling are answered by the manufacturer in its own FAQ, because each one depends on the specification and the production schedule.

Which combinations are fixed before a quotation?

Three points are fixed rather than quoted. The three bag formats are 20 cm packs, so a 30 cm towel is made only as a box or a portable pouch. 10 × 20 cm is not made as a bottom-pull large pack. And the portable pouch runs every confirmed size in both series.

Everything else — material, blend ratio, unfolded size, GSM, texture, fold, piece count, and packaging — is confirmed together against a sample and a written specification. No answer on this site should be read as a compatibility matrix.

What should I compare when reviewing samples and packaging?

Compare at least the same size and GSM, the same fiber composition, and the same dry or wet condition. Record hand feel, surface fuzzing, lint, how quickly water disappears, how the towel behaves when wet, how it comes out of the pack, and how the pack closes again.

Fuzzing is fiber standing up on the surface; lint is fiber leaving the towel. A sample comparison is a purchasing record, not a laboratory test. Section 04 lists the full checklist and offers it as a text file.

Is the portable pouch the same thing as a travel pack?

In this guide, yes — one format under two names. The manufacturer's catalogue lists it as a travel pack; this guide calls it a portable pouch, because the format is defined by the pouch and the 1/4 fold rather than by whether the pack travels.

It is made in both the 20 cm and 30 cm series and runs every confirmed size in both, which is why it appears in the size table as a format rather than as a separate product line.

What happens after a brief is sent from this site?

The form posts to an endpoint on this domain. The brief is emailed to henry@jaroll.com, tagged with the page it came from, and the page returns a reference number to quote in any later message.

Partial information is accepted: any field can be answered with “need advice” and the brief is still delivered. Sending it does not place an order or reserve capacity — it starts a specification conversation.

Why are prices, MOQ and lead times not published here?

Because all three move with the specification, the pack format, the quantity, and the production schedule, and they are confirmed in the quotation rather than before it. A figure published on a guide page would be out of date the moment a pack or a material changed.

This guide covers what can be fixed in advance — material, size, GSM, texture, fold, and pack format — while the manufacturer answers the commercial questions on its own site.

Does this site cover anything other than face towels?

No. Every page describes one product line: disposable spunlace nonwoven face towels for facial cleansing, in the 20 cm and 30 cm series at 40–100 g/m². Material, size, GSM, texture, fold, and packaging questions are all answered inside that line.

A brief for any other nonwoven product falls outside this guide, and nothing here should be read as a quotation or a specification for it. Send a face towel brief through this site; the manufacturer's own site is the place to ask about anything else.

Price, MOQ, lead time, payment terms, certification, and quality-claim handling are answered by the manufacturer in its own FAQ, because each one depends on the specification and the production schedule. This page keeps to what can be settled before a quotation exists: the specification, the pack, the fold, and the sample record.

Send a brief from this page

Four fields is enough to start. It goes to Henry at Jaroll by email, tagged with this page as its source. Partial information is fine.

What the face towel is used for, and what you already know about material, size, GSM, packaging, and quantity.
